About Faith
Faith Walsh is the founder of PilatesGripSocks. The brand started with a problem she kept hitting herself. After ten years of Pilates, she was tired of grip socks that slid on the Reformer carriage or shed their silicone after a month of washing. She had worked through pair after pair from different brands, and none of them held up. So she set out to make the one she actually wanted to wear.
That hands-on standard shapes how PilatesGripSocks is built. She sources the combed cotton herself, tests silicone coverage and arch-band tension against the worn-out socks she was replacing every few weeks, and won't ship a pair she wouldn't wear to her own class.
Today she lives in Miami, where she wear-tests every product in local studios before it reaches the shop.
What Faith writes about
Studio-tested guides on grip sock construction, Pilates and Reformer technique, and the materials that separate a sock that lasts 30 wears from one that lasts 300. Everything she publishes comes from socks she has worn in real classes, not spec sheets.
